InvestEU operations - list

The operation will be a participation in the financing of the Northvolt battery plant expansion.

The operation consists of an equity fund of funds for the realisation of “Affordable Social Housing” projects with a market-based approach to pursue the objective of lifting people from social exclusion in complementarity with national or regional support schemes.

The operation concerns the financing of the new campus of the Università degli Studi di Milano, where the University intends to relocate the teaching and research activities of its STEM departments, currently situated in the so called “Città Studi” and surrounding Milan eastern metropolitan areas.

The operation builds on the successful experience of the first Investment Platform (“Platform I”) and aims at deploying additional resources to support the Italian Venture capital (VC) ecosystem and securing additional support to strategic sectors/technologies.

The operation aims to develop an alternative and sustainable production method for meat. In the first stage, it is the production of cultivated pork meat. After a successful scale-up, the portfolio will be expanded with more meat variations.

HyET Solar has developed a fully flexible, very lightweight thin film solar foil (“Powerfoil”). It is based on affordable and abundantly available and harmless material: amorphous silicon (aSi) at competitive price.

The Framework Operation will comprise capped unfunded portfolio guarantees to private commercial Financial Intermediaries in 12 Member States. It will target sustainable investments across all sectors under the EU Compartment of InvestEU, contributing to energy savings and CO2 emission reductions.

The Framework Operation comprises uncapped unfunded portfolio guarantees provided by the EBRD to private commercial Financial Institutions in the EU12 CoOs.

The thematic fund focusses on investing in companies and infrastructures that promote the circular economy and energy transition. It will invest in areas active in circular economy infrastructure and bio-waste economy.
